Three young adults combine to make one baby. Owen is infertile. When he asks his best friend, Chas, to help get his girlfriend pregnant, little does he know the price he will have to pay.

This is the first short film Vickie Gest produced after she completed university. Directed by Kieran Galvin, with whom VizPoets was founded, Bad Ass Mono-Winged Angel was privately financed for around $16000. Shot over six days/nights the film utilized around 50 cast and crew from South East Queensland. The film was nominated for a Dendy Award 2001 for Best Fiction Under 15 minutes.
